PPMA operates through 3 distinctive governance layers
The Board of Directors may make rules providing for the conduct of business of the Executive Committee to which they have delegated any of their powers.
Board of Directors
01
The Executive Committee is operated by Office-Bearers, i.e. Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary or Treasurer of any subordinate branch
Office-Bearers are typically elected or appointed to manage a branch’s affairs and ensure its effective operation.
02
Executive Committee
03
Roundtable
A Roundtable discussion is a meeting where experts or members interested gather together to discuss a particular topic relevant to the PPMA’s interest. A Roundtable does not usually have a chairperson and all participate on equal footing both as educators and students for integration of diverse knowledge and expertise.
Subject to the Companies Ordinance and the Articles of Association, the PPMA is governed by the Board of Directors, whose powers may be delegated to the Executive Committee for operation of the PPMA’s businesses and affairs.
