GBA Technical visit to the Guangdong Province Dongguan Quality Supervision and Testing Center (DQSTC)

On 2nd December 2025, the Board Representatives of the Professional Project Management Association (PPMA) conducted a technical visit to the Guangdong Province Dongguan Quality Supervision and Testing Center (DQSTC) to explore the establishment of a cooperative relationship. The delegation consisted of four Board & Executive Committee members: Ir Dr. Jason Kong, Dr. Chan Siu Lung, Ms. Ping Choy, and Mr. Chan Ching Yu. The visit comprised of two key agendas: a facilities tour and a strategic meeting with the Center's key stakeholders, namely Mr. Gu Liwen, Director, Mr. Yao Zhi Hui, Deputy Director, Mr. Huang Zhi Hua, Branch Head, and Dr. Zhong Hai Bin.

Visiting to Qianha International Office

On 29 September 2025, the Board representative of the Professional Project Management Association (PPMA) met with the Shenzhen Qianhai International Cooperation Center to explore establishing a cooperative relationship. The delegation was comprised of four Board members: Ir Dr. Jason Kong, Dr. Chan Siu Lung, and Ms. Ping Choy. The visit comprised three main parts: an introduction to Qianhai's development in the exhibition hall, a tour of the Talent Acquisition Market office, and a meeting with Miss Millie Hou, Deputy Director of the Qianhai Authority.

It is my distinct honour, as the first President, to dearly welcome all members and partners onboard, and together we mark the inception of the Professional Project Management Association (“PPMA”).

What is PPMA?

Established as a non-profit professional body, the PPMA carries the paramount mission to advancing the professional development for project management in Hong Kong and across the Asia Pacific Region. As socio-economic activities become increasingly complex and interconnected nowadays, the demand for competent, ethical and forward-thinking project management has never been greater. To have this rising demand fulfilled, our PPMA was born as the brainchild of renowned academics and experts of project management to set rigorous professional standards, to foster international collaboration, and to champion continuous professional development.
