On 11 September 2026, the Professional Project Management Association (PPMA), in collaboration with eBRAM and supported by The Lighthouse Club and AiKM, successfully hosted its flagship Leadership Seminar. The event drew an overwhelming response from industry leaders, project managers, and innovators, all gathering to explore the future of our evolving field.

Themed "Navigating the Next Era of Professional Project Management," the seminar brought together industry experts to share insights on mega-scale construction technology, digital dispute resolution, and AI-driven knowledge management.

1. Delivering Engineering Excellence: The Hong Kong Sports Park Project

The seminar opened with a keynote on one of the region’s most ambitious infrastructure achievements: the Hong Kong Sports Park project.

Presented by Ir. Jason Cheung and Mr. Billy Wong (黃志斌), General Manager of Hip Hing Construction Co. Ltd., the session offered an insider look at how OpenBIM technology was leveraged to execute this massive project. Their presentation demonstrated how advanced modeling, digital collaboration, and engineering precision can drive successful outcomes on a mega-scale—a true showcase of innovation that makes Hong Kong proud.

2. Digitalizing Dispute Resolution in Construction

Next, Ir. Albert Leung (FCIArb, FHKIArb, MHKIoD, MHKIE, MIET, CEng, PMP®), Acting CEO of eBRAM, took the stage to introduce eBRAM’s pioneering electronic platform for arbitration and mediation.

As project management grows increasingly complex, efficient dispute resolution becomes essential. Ir. Leung demonstrated how eBRAM’s lawtech solutions are streamlining mediation and arbitration processes, enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and fairness for the industry at large.

3. Harnessing AI and Knowledge Management

Aligning directly with the core theme of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Kelvin Wan, CAIP, delivered an engaging presentation on behalf of AiKM (Artificial Intelligence & Knowledge Management).

Prof. Wan shared forward-thinking perspectives on how integrating AI tools with structured knowledge management allows project managers to make data-driven decisions, mitigate risks early, and boost productivity across modern project lifecycles.

4. Looking Ahead: Leadership and Continuous Innovation

The seminar concluded with inspiring closing remarks from Ar. Professor Ada Fung BBS. She urged project management professionals to actively embrace leadership, innovation, and lifelong learning to navigate today's fast-paced, technology-driven landscape.
