Visiting to Qianha International Office

On 29 September 2025, the Board representative of the Professional Project Management Association (PPMA) met with the Shenzhen Qianhai International Cooperation Center to explore establishing a cooperative relationship. The delegation was comprised of four Board members: Ir Dr. Jason Kong, Dr. Chan Siu Lung, and Ms. Ping Choy. The visit comprised three main parts: an introduction to Qianhai's development in the exhibition hall, a tour of the Talent Acquisition Market office, and a meeting with Miss Millie Hou, Deputy Director of the Qianhai Authority.

During the meeting, Ir Dr. Kong introduced the Professional Project Management Association (PPMA), outlining its organizational structure, vision, and mission. Ir Dr. Kong emphasized that the APM (UK) Chartered Project Professional program (ChPP), and Certified Quality Officer (CQO) program are representing a key skills and knowledge development initiative for PPMA in both Mainland China and Hong Kong. He also expressed PPMA's interest in collaborating with the Qianhai Authority to jointly establish a comprehensive system standard. The Deputy Director endorsed PPMA's development approach and acknowledged mutual interest in advancing future cooperation. The One-stop Administrative Service Center could serve as a potential starting point to facilitate collaboration between the two organizations.
